The Most Productive 10 Minutes Online

Randy Pausche, a computer science professor, gave a lecture to 400 people at Carnegie Mellon University on September 18th, 2007, called "Really Achieving Your Childhood Dreams" or "The Last Lecture". Randy, married with 3 kids, was battling with pancreatic cancer. While he knew he was going to die soon, he chose not to live in pity or sadness in his last days. In “The Last Lecture”, he emphasized the importance of having fun and with his strength is reminding us every day of what is important in life.

Below is a reprised 10 minute lecture of the actual original 1:15 hour “The Last Lecture”, one of the most inspiring lectures. If this is his attitude toward his coming death, I think we might have a little more faith towards our shortcomings in life.

Or you can watch the full lecture here:

Randy passed away on July 25th, 2008, at the age of 47 but his message is still living to inspire all of us.
