The Theory of Negative Energy in Simple Math

Using basic math I’d like to examine the power of negativity that can affect us.

According to the basic arithmetic rules, only when two positives are together do they become of a greater value. When the same value of positive and negative are put together, you are just standing still. Most of the times when you are added to, multiplied by or divided by a negative number, the number is dragged down.

If we apply those basic arithmetic rules to the rules of life, we can only learn that if we want to move forward, we should surround ourselves with positive, rewarding, optimistic, challenging and healthy people. If we are having a little bit of negativity that we can handle but don’t do anything about, we just standing still. If we are surrounded with pessimists, quitters and losers, we are only going to be dragged to the bottom of the drain.

When I look to the table above, I can see that the possibility of moving forward is 33.33%, the possibility of standing still is 11.11% and the possibility of going backward is 55.56%.  Therefore, one can easily conclude that anyone will have a higher possibility to be dragged backward by numerous external or internal negative forces. However, there is higher possibility to move forward than to stand still.

In other words, we should be careful about what surrounds us that might hinder our progress and always be sure that there are many others out there who made it to the top. However, not all made it when they were content with only what they had.
