Blue and Red Hurts the Eyes

Two colors designers should never put together, blue and red.

Why?

It is hard to focus when these two colors are aligned together. Not just that but the following color combinations as well:

-          Red and green
-          Blue and grey
-          Red and grey

When any of the combination of those colors is put together, it causes a visual perception called chromostereopsis, whereby your vision becomes fuzzy. It would be hard to read lines written in those shades of colors for instance. Many designers fall in this pitfall and defer us from looking at what they wanted us to attend to in the first place.

It hurts the eyes. Doesn't it?
